New Garmin G1000 Equipped Diamond Star on display
June 26, 2005
The Open Day went well, despite a last minute glitch preventing the Mooney from coming. Over a hundred folks came to see the brand new glass cockpit Garmin G1000 equipped Diamond Star.
The airplane was plugged in to ground power so that all the avionics were functioning.
The crowd enjoyed free refreshments and hot dogs courtesy of Amelia Reid Aviation.
I thought Amelia Reid is about taildraggers only, what is this about? We specialize in quality flight training. We believe that the best way for pilot to acquire good skills is to start their training in a tailwheel airplane. However we are also mindful of the newest trends in the industry and our instructors have wide expertise. While we do not plan to ever become yet another boring flight school, we can train pilots in the latest technically advanced aircraft as well as the oldest stick and rudder skills.
