Upset, Unusual Attitude Recovery and Spin Flight Training
We will fly a fully acrobatic Citabria or Super Decathlon, tailwheel, tandem seating, stick control aircraft. Your instruction will include ground instruction on the maneuvers we will perform, safety procedures, and a full hour of flight training. We will do loops, rolls, hammerheads, stalls and spins, plus instruction in recovery from accidental upsets and unusual attitudes that could be caused by, for example, wake turbulence.
Acrobatic / Aerobatic Pilot Training
Expand your horizons, improve your skills and confidence. Learn how to fly in any attitude. Aerobatic maneuvers taught include: spins, loops, aileron rolls, hammerheads, snap rolls, immelmans, and cuban eights.
Prerequisite: Private Pilot License, No FAA written test needed, Medical: Class I, II, or III
Time: 10 hrs dual minimum required by Amelia Reid Aviation
Cost: Approximately $1600-$2000
